February 7th:
Best Cash Flow Investments CAGE MATCH!
+ All About "Opportunity Zones"

The Real Estate Investors Association of Greater Cincinnati (REIAGC) hosts two general meetings each month. The meetings are held on the FIRST and THIRD Thursdays of each month. Each general meeting is broken into two separate sessions, an EARLY session (6:00 PM) and the MAIN session (7:30 PM). At the end of the early session 7:00 PM we have Buy-Sell-Trade! This is an opportunity for our members to share what deals they are looking for, deals they want to sell or looking to trade. The main session is a water hose of great information. The main session will have a range of topics that are all relevant to the current real estate market. You will learn information about marketing, negotiating, evaluating properties, rental regulations, rehabbing properties, short sales and so much more. Let’s not forget NETWORKING.

The general meetings are a great place to network. You can build relationships with other investors, find partners or find a vendor for your rehab or rental properties.

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Best Cash Flow Investments CAGE MATCH!

There are lots of assets that create cash flow: single family homes, apartments, notes, and even real estate-related business opportunities like Air BnB properties. But which is best? That’s what our panel of successful local investors will debate—and when they do, you’ll learn the pros and cons of each, how to get the money to buy your favorite type of property, what the challenges and risks of each are, and the easiest ways to acquire and manage them.

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
All About “Opportunity Zones”

One of the biggest recent changes to the tax law is also a huge opportunity for real estate investors—the creation of “Opportunity Zones,” where you can get very favorable tax breaks for buying and renovating properties, or even for invest- ing in companies that do so.

Of course, it’s the government, so it’s not as easy as just buying houses in the right areas - there are rules for set-up, rules for election, and rules for how long you’ll need to own the properties to get the biggest deductions. CPA Scott Ells- worth will explain the benefits, and what you have to do, at our early meeting.
