Cracking the Code on “Credibility”
+ How to Stay Safe when Buying Sub to
We’re here to share the important, moneymaking skills that you just can’t get training on anywhere else, and to keep your deals nice and safe by talking about what others won’t: the real, common pitfalls that you can avoid if you know where they are.
Our monthly Online Nationwide Chapter meeting brings together investors from all over the U.S. to network, learn together, and share resources. You’re invited to join us from the comfort of your own couch and find out the steps to building REAL credibility, and avoiding problems with subject to deals.
Here’s the whole agenda:
5:30 p.m. (eastern)
Open Q&A, networking, and buy-sell-trade. Bring questions to be answered, deals you want to buy, sell, or get financed, or just introduce yourself to hundreds of excited, active real estate entrepreneurs from coast to coast
6:00 p.m. eastern early bird meeting
Big Subject To Mistakes and How to Avoid Them: Even though Subject to Deals are no-qualifying and often no money down, they’re not risk-free.
Do them wrong, and you could easily:
- Lose money every month
- Get sued
- Find that you’re uninsured even though you’ve been paying the premium
- Get foreclosed on even though you think you’ve been making the payment
- Seriously damage a seller
Some of the things you’ve read or heard about how to do subject to deals are just dead wrong; we’ll explode these myths in session
7:30
How to Build Real Credibility with
Lenders, Partners, Sellers, Buyers, and Mentors
With Robert Mohon
If real estate is a ‘relationship business’ (and come on, we ALL know it is!) then your credibility is key to the number and quality of relationships you’re able to create and maintain.
It’s a good thing that credibility isn’t about how long you’ve been in the business, or how many deals you’ve done, or how much you’re willing to brag about yourself, because if it was, we’d have a “chicken or egg?” problem…
You need to be credible for in order for money people, and buyers and sellers, and even mentors and advisors, to take you seriously.
But you don’t have to be experienced, or a braggart, or an extrovert, or someone who knows everything or who’s never made a mistake to build that credibility!
At this online meeting, Robert Mohon will give you a roadmap for what you DO need to do to. He should know; as executive director of the Real Estate Investors of Nashville, a highly connected investor, and a private lender, he’s been observing how real estate entrepreneurs create (and destroy) credibility for decades.
He’ll share:
- What “credibility” actually means in the real estate investing world (Hint: it’s NOT about how many deals you’ve closed!)
- 4 (fairly easy) things that you MUST do consistently to be credible and stay credible
- Why just showing up is way more important than you think it is
- How just having a strong network can lend you credibility instantly—and how to use your network to do that
- Little things (that you may not even think about) that might be destroying your credibility—and this means you, too, lenders and buyers and experienced people!
Whether you’re brand new, or an experienced investor looking to build a bigger network of ‘financial friends and allies’, you should join us and pick up some ideas we bet you never considered from Robert.
